A wind meter (anemometer) is a device for measuring wind speed. While basic wind meters will only measure the speed of the wind the others have the ability to measure the temperature and pressure of the wind. Wind meters are essential tools for any wind driven sport enthusiast. In most cases a basic Xplorer 1 or 2 wind meter will be sufficiant however, if you are looking for extra features such as pressure, altitude and compass then we recommend Xplorer 3 or 4 wind meters.
